Top Metallics

Sunday, laundry is well on its way to done and my closet is clean and organized. I’m feeling rather accomplished. I’ve decided on a new name for my blog, Simply Stella, I plan to include fashion, recipes, lifestyle and whatever else is simply me.

Metallics! They are everywhere and I cannot get enough. I’ve mostly been sticking to eyeshadow but have seen some Colourpop lippies that I might need. Metallic shadows are easy to wear and add a bit of dazzle to any look. Here are a handful of my favourite (so far) metallic shadows.

Colourpop Super Shock shadows are hands down are my favourite metallic as they are super easy to apply, provide a lot of pigmentation and don’t crease. Their formula is also pretty awesome. All of their metallic are gorgeous but my top 4 are:

Porter: A lovely burgundy with gold flecks.

Lovely: Muted gold tone.

Hammered: Emerald with gold flecks that makes a stunning eyeliner.

Get Lucky: Light green tone that I pair with hammered.

Next up, these single shadows are a recent release from tarte and I’ve been using them pretty consistently since receiving them. The formula is not as creamy and rich as Colourpop but they are easy to build and have decent pigmentation.

Sinful: Another Lovely wine shade.

Grind: Not quite gold but not quite silver.

Hussy: High shine gold, my favourite.

Shake Down: High shine pewter – more lovely than described here 😝

Lastly, my favourite shades from my VioletVoss Holy Grail palette:

Toffee, Cool Beans and Glamping. I’m guilty of wearing all 3 together 😍

Metallics are definitely on trend for fall and this is a trend I can appreciate. Thanks for stopping by ❤
