Blogmas: Day 7

I’ve said before that I am not a huge fan of gift sets (vaults, samplers, etc) and this still remains true but I know many folks who would be pleased as punch to receive a goodie basket full of samplings from their fav brands. If I was a fan, these would definitely be on my list and might be a nice treat for someone that you are shopping for!

I almost, almost picked this one up when I first saw it in my email inbox simply because anything from Bite Beauty is amazing and of fantastic quality. Then I reminded myself that I cannot apply regular lipstick to save my life and I would never use 38 tubes of lipstick, minis or no. However, the Amuse Bouche Lipstick Vault Collection would make such an incredible gift for the lipstick lover in your life. This brand always delivers and uses good for you ingredients in all of their products. I own 2 of their lippies and they are gorgeous, the inability to wear them is all my fault. This collection retails for $195 which is spendy but you are getting a really quality product and enough lipstick for a decade, at least.

boucheFirst Aid Beauty is hands down one of my favourite skin care brands, their products are wonderful for sensitive skin. The FAB Trial Kit would be a great introduction for someone who is new to the brand or for a veteran who wants their favourite products on the go. It includes 4 10 day trials of some of their best products and a little bag all for $8!

This next set from Josie Maran is a steal of a deal, you are almost getting a full face for $49. This set includes a small vial of the Light Argan Oil, full-sized serum foundation, cheek gelee and the fabulous illuminator stick! Not only are all of the products in the Argan Oil Glowing Complexion Collection  perfect for needed winter hydration, this is another great taste of the brand’s best products.josie2

Another skin care go to for me is L’Occitane and I would be positively giddy to receive their Nourishing Shea Butter gift basket.  The tubes of hand and foot cream alone make this basket an excellent bargain for the $72 price tag. If you have never tried their Milk Soap – check it out, it is very yummy.

Anyone who is into Sunday RIley knows that you shell out some major ching for their products. Their #SquadGoals Skin Care Essentials Kit offers deluxe sized samples of 4 of their most coveted offerings. At $90 the price tag is hefty but this offers the ability to try some products that retail on their own for that price without committing to something that you might not like at all. I doubt that would happen with this luxurious brand but just saying 😛

Even myself, the Anti-Gift Set would be delighted with any of these. And like I said, gift sets are the perfect opportunity to introduce someone to some of your favourite brands or provide them travel sizes so that they are never without their own.

Thanks for stopping by <3
