Indie Beauty Brands to Try

I love a lot of mainstream beauty brands but I am always keen to try those unique, quirky and eccentric smaller beauty brands. I appreciate their unique, not on trend but totally edgy offerings and typically they are pretty affordable. I remember Urban Decay when it was just a little indie line, anyway. I have discovered beauty staples from the likes of Lime Crime, Beauty Bakerie and Colourpop and am ready for more! Here is a shortlist of other indie brands I’d like to try this year:

Indie LeeThis chic, eco-friendly skincare company offers several skin care products derived from the finest quality, natural ingredients. The whole brand aesthetic is simplistic and totally gorgeous.

Sugarpill – Spoiler alert, I hauled some items from this brand already but haven’t tried the yet! The colours, the artwork – this brand is larger than life and so over the top it just mesmerizes me. They have a Kimchi liquid lipstick people, how can you not?

W3ll People – Founded by a makeup artist, dermatologist and hippie – sold. This brand offers everything from a good base to brows and the reviews are amazing across the board. I think that you can now find them in some Targets, I hope to run into the foundation stick at the very least.

SigmaTheir brushes have been all over social media and they look lovely. They also have various lip products and lovely blushers, I have yet to order anything from them but they have a store in MN and I need to go!

There are others (of course) but those have been most on my radar recently, I have a 3 day weekend and I think it is past time to check out that Sigma store! What brands are you wanting to try before Sephora snatches them up and over-exposes them 😛

Thanks for stopping by ❤
