Sample Saturday – Lauren Brooke

A lovely Saturday, no snow but at least we are back to feeling like it is winter! Today I have another little beauty from a Vegan Cuts box that I received a few weeks back now and have been loving. It is the Sweet Sixteen Pressed Cheek Color by Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques. If you don’t know Lauren Brooke – check them out!! This line offers loads of natural, good for you, clean beauty products and I do mean loads. This is probably one of the most extensive, natural beauty lines that I have ever come across and everything that I have tried has been fantastic quality and honestly, not terribly spendy in comparison to other brands of this nature.

I had not tried the pressed blushers as I am a recent love of creme blushers and multi-sticks but this blusher is pretty warm pink with just a touch of luminosity. It is a healthy sample that comes in a standard plastic compact. This blusher is very pigmented and I have found the best way to apply a consistent wash is with a puffy powder brush or else you are going to just get colour deposits. It does blend but I am the worst at blending blush, I tend to just get it all over my face – yea,  I am that person. I think it is a nice, smooth formula but a touch on the powdery side. I will enjoy using this up but probably would not purchase a full size, that being said Primrose is calling my name. I do recommend this brand, in the next few weeks I will plan some posts around their products.
