Show Me Your Empties

February Empties

I have not posted my empties in ages and it is mostly due to not having that many or I toss them and forget that I should have saved them to talk about. I only have a few this month but here they are:

Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel – This is a long time favourite and one skincare item that I always have on hand. The original formula does a fine job at keeping skin clear and I have repurchased it already. They also just released a moisturizing formula and I picked that one up and will give it a whirl.

bareMinerals Dirty Detox – This mask is heavy duty, it has charcoal and loads of enzymes but I could pretty much bank on a break out after using it since it does such a great job at sucking out toxins. The con was that it did nothing to help clear break outs, so I was just stuck with blotchy skin. It also had a really lemony scent that I wasn’t crazy about – I won’t repurchase any time soon.

tarte Shape Tape – This one actually isn’t totally empty but there is no way I am getting all of the product out of there as the brush is so huge. That is kinda’ annoying and makes me not want to repurchase this honestly. This shade was not great for me and I have another shade that works better and will use that up.

Clinique SuperPrimer –This is a really nice primer but I swear it caused me serious breakouts. It has taken me forever to get through this tube because I couldn’t decide if it was bothering my skin or not. I won’t repurchase, I have loads of other primers that work for me that don’t make my skin flare up.

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream – This stuff claims to give you amazing results just short of an eye-lift, it is full of peptides and blah, blah, blah – it did absolutely nothing more than the most basic eye creams I have used do. Sure, it wears well under makeup but at this price point and given all the claims – not worth it. Plus, the package seems overly gimmicky.

A few disappointments but at least I got through them 🙂 Thanks for stopping by <3
