LipMonthly,  Subscription Boxes

Wednesday Reveal – February LipMonthly

I recently came upon an offer to get a first month of LipMonthly for $5 and decided to give it a try. This is a monthly subscription for $12.95, that includes a bag, 3-4 full size lip products and one beauty surprise. Apparently you can also customize certain products in your bag but I did not have that option for February, I did for March so we shall see what happens. This subbox has total shit reviews online, people complain that they cancelled and still got charged, shipping is slow, boxes were never received – I did not have any issues. Yes, they use DHL but companies use them because they are cheap not because they are fast. Here is what came in this super cute, pink leopard print bag:

Cosmoholic Liquid Lipstick in Mysterious Mocha – I think the shade is very lovely, high gloss but still lovely and the tube has a teenie mirror on it.

Sugar Matte As Hell Lipstick Crayon in Poison Ivy – This crayon was my fav out of the bag, it is so smooth and the wine red is so vampy. I don’t dabble in a lot of reds but this one looked surprisingly nice with my skin tone, now just an occasion to wear it on – seems too much for workย  ๐Ÿ˜› I would definitely check out other shades though, they retail for $16.99- not bad.

ModelCo Long Wear Lipstick in Truffle – This is a berry toned lipstick with a cream formula. I can’t say that it is long-wear, it seems fairly balmy and provides a fairly sheer wash of colour. I have never heard of this brand but looking at their site there are so many things that I need.

Cargo St. Tropez – This was my beauty surprise and it is a gorgeous shimmery sand shadow. So smooth, I really like this.

And here are some swatches, from top to bottom: St. Tropez, Truffle, Poison Ivy and Mysterious Mocha.

My first bag was fabulous, it was well worth $5 and I am excited to see what my March bag looks like.

Thanks for stopping by <3
