Wednesday Reveal – March GlamBag

I don’t work in marketing (obviously) but I go absolutely gaga for a really fine piece of media. I think that I missed my calling and should go back to school, oh wait…:D My sub-boxes are so late this month with all of the storms, the anticipation! After drooling over the pretty, powder pink bag for weeks now my Ipsy has arrived and it is everything and more. It is also already covered in cat hair, I can’t have anything nice. I don’t know how I will use it – I want it to stay perfectly pink and oh-la-la forever. I really like the fold-over design, you can stuff these bags with so many items. To the contents!

The theme is Tres Jolie and all things French and lovely. The card was different this month and I liked it, it was understated and delicate, it added to the vibe of the bag. The first item is a Tarte Matte Lip Paint in the shade rose (supposed to be ros-ay but this application and special characters don’t jive. Boo). I know that I already like the matte lip paints and this shade is a dusty, rose that I will definitely wear.

Next up is Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Marisa – I don’t know, this one didn’t really fit with the theme of the bag in my opinion. I thought it would be a rosier gold but it is much darker on me, I could probably get away with using it as a liner though.

I wasn’t terribly interested in the Air Repair Skincare Complexion Boosting Moisturizer, it smelled nice and has decent consistency but a moisturizer that is specifically marketed to consumers who fly a lot? Seems superfluous to me. I did use it and will feature it in the next Sample Saturday – heads up, this stuff is awful well for my skin anyway.

A super soft, super sleek tapered blending brush from Beau Gachis. I love getting brushes and enjoy this brand especially!

This next product, the Eyebrow Highlighting Pencil from Chella is an item that I would love to use but I have tried numerous  brightening pencils and just don’t use them often enough to own them. I tend to forget to use them, when I do use them I don’t see what they do for my face and they end up just drying out and getting tossed 🙁 I’d like to commit to this one, see if I can use one up but not promising anything. The texture is nice, very creamy and doesn’t tug.

Overall, I did like this bag – very spring and pretty. I think that I will use most of the items and am sill enjoying this subscription!

Thanks for stopping by <3
