Wednesday Reveal – April Lip Monthly

While researching a child’s toy that I would like to give as a gift, I went down this internet worm hole and ended up reading all about what stores are publicly traded and why and all kinds of other amazing things that had literally nothing to do with said toy. The internet is a dangerous, fascinating place and the mom to be is getting a gift card because who knows where my next internet search will take me. This is my last reveal for April and we are ending the month with LipMonthly. Something I am noticing about this bag is that many of the brands are only available online – which is fine as some of my favourite brands are online only but something to keep in mind if you are a try before you buy kinda’ gal.

Estate Cosmetics Pout Stick – I got the shade Boujee which is a rosy pink, sheer lippie. The formulas is smooth, not waxy and pigmentation was similar to a tinted balm. The packaging is very minimal which I am in to, this will be a fun colour to pop on when it starts to get hot outside.

So Susan Liquid Matte Long Wear Lipstick – I was bummed when I saw that I received the shade Pumpkin as I thought it would be too fall toned but it is surprisingly coral-y on the lips and I like it. This is also packed with some yummy ingredients; olive oil, cocoa butter and chamomile. This brand is also cruelty free!

be a bombshell Lip Gloss – I received Mauvelous, this is a very pink gloss. This might be a re-gift, it just looked too pink on me. Another cruelty free brand!

Mally Beauty Colour Corrector – I would love to be able to use this as I do like this brand but alas, it is salmon and just too dark for my skin tone. This will also be a re-gift.

The bag this month was the same cotton fabric with little bows – I think these bags are adorable and so easy to take odds and ends that you need for the day!

In case you are new, LipMonthly is a monthly subscription that sends you 4-5 full size products with one of them being a beauty surprise, it costs $12.95 per month. Another fun bag with several new brands to try!

Thanks for stopping by <3

The shade name “Pumpkin” does sound like it would be more for Fall. Glad it turned out to be more coral!
The bag is so cute! So it looks like you’re keeping 2 and giving 2 away… I guess not bad.

Yea! I am glad too, I mean – I guess I would wear it either way as I do like the formula but I could just see leaving it and forgetting about until fall too. This is a fun bag and yep – 50/50, not too bad!

It’s definitely a favourite, I love that the products are full-size and lots of indie brands. Thank you, I appreciate that 😄
