Not Just a Tease

The BF walks through the living room and asks me if I am, Watching drag queens again. And yes, yes I am. If there are two things that I would immediately do if I was male they would be 1) Grow a beard and 2) Dress in drag. Ever since my 15 year old self watched Priscilla – Queen of the Desert then got caught and then got hauled to confession (legit happened, more on this later) I have been obsessed with drag queens. Everything about drag culture fascinates me, to completely transform into someone different – it just sparks my imagination. The hair, the makeup, the outfits, the personalities – I think more men should be taking advantage of this. I’ve always wanted to ask male friends if they would consider a drag transformation but how does one work that into a conversation. So, you wanna’ drag makeover – I have all the shit. And the names, don’t even get me started – Trixie Mattel, Miss Fame, Latrice Royale, Severely Mame. I mean, come on. Anyway, super into the whole scene 😉 Anyone else?

The Product of the Week is a surprisingly matte, neutral palette – the Tartelette Tease. This is a 6 pan palette with a variety of matte nudes and just a couple of shimmers but I have been using it non-stop since I purchased it. These shadows are very powdery but other than that are easy to blend and otherwise work with. While it only comes equipped with 6 shadows, it contains enough of a variety that you can acquire a couple of different looks with it. I have also been using this in conjunction with larger palettes that I feel are missing some shades making it even more versatile. The packaging is cute and decently sturdy, I also like that it comes with a teenie mirror – even if I am not wearing these shadows, I will still put this in my on the go beauty bag. I paid $23 for this at ULTA and it has been worth every penny – there isn’t a shade that I can’t use!

Thanks for stopping by <3
