Wednesday Reveal – June Sephora Play!

Another Wednesday, another…no, I am kidding! I have not been posting the last few Sephora Play boxes because they have not been great and I feel like a jerk complaining about a $10 sample box. Honestly though, they have been lame! June was fabulous though and I definitely wanted to share. I don’t know what the theme is – something to do with summer, the bag has little bathing beauties on it? Are they themes, is it a catch phrase – I just don’t know. Here is what came in my box:

OUAI Rose Hair & Body Oil – First off, this stuff smells ah-mazing!! It doesn’t spray, it spews out like an oil which makes sense but not what I was expecting. This product is formulated with rose hip, shea and absinthium oils to remedy dry, brittle and frizzy hair as well as dry skin. It claims to be quick absorbing and illuminating – I am excited to try!

FAB Coconut Skin Smoothing Priming Moisturizer – I have been wanting to try this for some time but coconut in moisturizers and oils tend to break me out. Also, priming moisturizers so rarely give me enough hydration and I don’t want to layer on an oil in the summer. It is very light weight and smells lovely too – it claims to be ultra-hydrating and packed with good skin stuff.

IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel – This is hydrating leave in gel for the trendy undone look. You are supposed to apply to wet hair and look like a rich kid…? I’m sorry – what? It sounds interesting but I don’t see the point.

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer – Already a fan of this pore-plugging primer which sounds gross but it does really provide a flawless base. I like this for summer when my skin is more oily as it can be a tad drying and just works really well.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in K-Dub – I have never tried these so I am super pumped. I am loving this purple-y pink shade too, I am going to give it a whirl this weekend. It swatched very nice and dried down beautifully.

YSL Black Opium – I have flirted with the idea of purchasing this a few times but it just smells so generic in comparison to the original Opium and I tend to buy that instead. This one is just kinda’ floral and meh – I don’t dislike it but not something I’d seek out. I used about half the sample testing it, oops.

Definitely the best box from Play in a while – well worth the $10 this month! Have you tried any of these products?

Thanks for stopping by <3
