Sample Saturday – Kiehl’s Night Owl Set

I purchased a new Glade scent, Flannel Embrace – it is supposed to be a fall scent and it smells nice. It’s a nice blend of woodsy meets spicy and I am allergic to it. We have come full circle, I am allergic to the scent of my favourite season. I would do unspeakable things for someone if they would simply cure allergies – if you know of a mad scientist who is in need of some unspeakable things, let me know.

Today’s Sample Saturday is a little different, I have a Kiehl’s sample set that came with a recent order. It included 5 of their best-selling night time treatments and a cute toiletry bag. I have already tried most of the products but it did include a couple that I haven’t used before. Here is what came in the bag:

Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil – This was one of the items that I had ordered a full-size of, I love this oil but it’s a treat for me. There are cleansing oils that are just as good at a lesser cost but I do love this one. It smells luxurious and makes my skin feel so soft, it is heavier than most cleansing oils and it is nice for dryer seasons which is why I decided to get a refill.

Midnight Recovery Eye – Another product that I was repurchasing, this is hands down my favourite eye cream for nighttime use. It has the same scent as the oil, it is heavy but my eyes soak it up. It is one of the few eye treatments that I actually feel does something. It comes in a squeeze tube too which I like more than jars so I don’t have to stick my fingers in it.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate – Another lovely product, this is a night time oil blend that intensely hydrates and brightens. Also, heavily scented- if you aren’t a fan of medicinal fragrances, I would avoid the Midnight Recovery line.

Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate – I have not tried this, it is supposed to accelerate surface skin cell turnover while visibly evening skin tone and refining the feel of rough texture over time. Also, this concentrate is made from sustainably-sourced quinoa husk extract. Who knew that quinoa had a husk? Not me. I am excited to try this, I love peeling my face.

Super Multi-Corrective Cream – This cream claims to visibly lift, firm and re-texturize skin. It is formulated with hyaluronic acid, it feels surprisingly light and smells a tad citrusy.

This is a fabulous set, I look forward to trying these products out! The bag is already coated in cat hair, my cats pretty much just eat and shed so there’s that.

Thanks for stopping by <3
