30 Spooky Halloween Questions Tag!

I was flipping through the calendar and realized that Thanksgiving is next month, I mean, obviously but then I realized that Halloween will be here and gone in a week.  Sad face. In celebration or lament, I am doing another Halloween tag, this one is a little spookier and much longer – I apologize in advance 😛

The theme song from Halloween, it’s my year-round ringtone. John Carpenter actually wrote the music for many of his films which I think is incredible, not only did he create some of the most notable horror flicks, he wrote some pretty creepy music. Fun fact, when my phone goes off my cats flip out – it makes me wonder what it is about the tone or the pitch of the music that instills a sense of fear.

A person, no matter what monsters I can conjure up in my mind, mankind remains the only real monster.

Spiral ST Regular

Of course, nothing remotely cool even happened but it was released by Parker Brothers so as a discerning 12 year old, I figured that would be the case. Not to mention, I think we picked it up at Sams Club, so lame.

Spiral ST Regular

Ohhhh – but there are so many good ones, if I had to choose it would be Pinhead from Hellraiser. Is it odd that I thought that he was a complete fox – probably but sadly, the actor was not that good looking in real life. Must have been the pins and the pleather.

I think that my biggest fear is fire, like real life, your house could burn down, fire. I grew up in an area where we saw a lot of wildfires and it’s just something that is always in the back of my mind. I hate gas stoves, I have refused apartments based on them having gas stoves/gas heat – a few years back though I did have one because everything else about the place was perfect. We child-proofed the knobs because, #cats but one day I got out of the shower and 2 knobs were on – full blast just spewing gas everywhere. I don’t know if I was creeped because I didn’t know how they had been turned on or if it was just my innate fear of fire but I freaked out. I took all of the knobs completely off the stove, they had to be put back on each time that we used it.

Pffft, of course. No question and I actually have couple in mind, more on this later.

A little, I think that in today’s society with all of the technology and knowledge that it makes it much harder to be truly superstitious. If someone gets sick, we know that it isn’t witches or demons – it’s just the plague.

Spiral ST Regular

No…? Not that I have ever noticed, usually if I see something then it is actually there.

Spiral ST Regular

Are skin-walkers an urban legend? I first heard about them on a trip to a volleyball game, we crossed through the Navajo reservation and our coach who was Southern Ute told us about them. They are witches that embody animals, terrifying. I truly believe that they could exist though, there’s some old magic on those reservations – I don’t care what anyone says.

Spiral ST Regular

Depends, I abhor the Saw movies and think that they are needlessly gory but I like slasher, cheesecake flicks and they don’t bother me. I do enjoy a good thriller though too.

Spiral ST Regular

Like spirit worlds? Um, yes – see skin-walkers.

Spiral ST Regular

Um, no. I mean, who wasn’t tempted after seeing The Craft but no.

Spiral ST Regular

I am pretty good at distinguishing between the threat of real danger and just being hysterical, I would say no.

Spiral ST Regular

Of course and again, nothing remotely cool happened.

Spiral ST Regular

Absolutely. Perhaps not in an overtly religious, Christian way but yes.

Leave – see, this is the fatal mistake that so many people make in slasher flicks. You don’t go to investigate, moron – especially if you have to go down into a basement or up into an attic. Just get outside, ask questions later.

Spiral ST Regular

Halloween, I would survive – the guy can’t even run, he just walks at you. Not even speed walking, like strolling – how did he manage to kill like two dozen people?

Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus, I have been working on that costume for nearly a lifetime – might as well wear it.

Spiral ST Regular

Been there, done that and it wasn’t actually that scary. I grew up in a small town, the cemetery was right on the way to school but it wasn’t a creepy place. I think that it depends on the cemetery, some are so new and organized – would I go to a graveyard in Southern Louisiana at night? Absolutely not.

Spiral ST Regular

Science. I can’t get into the zombie thing – it just isn’t going to happen, we will see an Ebola or smallpox apocalypse before zombies.

Spiral ST Regular

I do enjoy a good masque but college ruined Halloween parties for me, so probably trick-r-treating.

The final girl but only because I was also the killer – plot twist. But in all honesty, we all saw it coming. Ree, ree, ree, ree!

Spiral ST Regular

Spiral ST Regular

No – does this even work? Some things you just can’t forget no matter how much Barney you watch.

I could be yelling or I could be sleeping. I get so irritated when a character (usually a girl) will be running from the villain and then biffs it over seemingly nothing. All you had to do was run and not fall, moron. That really incenses me and I feel like every director everywhere just assumes that females are prone to tripping over nothing. Pffft. At least we can run, Michael.

Spiral ST Regular

I don’t like scaring people. I am at that person who would do it one time and cause someone to have a heart issue. We do little office pranks but they are genuinely funny, nobody is actually scared. That being said, I am not easily scared – I am the person who you call in an emergency because I am not going to get hysterical.

Spiral ST Regular

The Shining, if you think that the movie is scary – the book is ten times more terrifying. There are so many details about the hotel and the labyrinth that weren’t included in the movie that add so much to the atmosphere.

Spiral ST Regular

I was 11 when I watched Salem’s Lot, that was the benefit of having older brothers and sisters who could do things like drive to get contraband books and movies. It was also used later for blackmail fodder but it was worth it.

Spiral ST Regular

An elephant, is the first one that I can recall…?

Spiral ST Regular

Ms. Frizzle, a repeat in my collection.

Spiral ST Regular

We already have our torties, they have black and orange markings – they are the perfect Halloween-esque cats. Also, total party poopers because they refuse to wear the witch hats that I purchased for them.

If you made it this far, I am impressed 😀 As always, I would so enjoy reading your responses to these questions so be sure to tag me if you do this one!

Thanks for stopping by ❤
