Sephora VIB Spring Sale Wishlist!

Do you ever read a book that is so freaking good that you have to start it all over? I just finished The Legacy by Yrsa Sigurdardottir and it was amazing. I tend to really like her books but this one is definitely a new fave. It’s not for the squeamish, there are some pretty gritty scenes and intense themes but it was fantastic. I hope that this is just a taste of the Nordic thrillers that are releasing this month.

While I have not received my paper coupon (do they still send those), the VIB Rouge sale starts April 13th and since I am making a conscientious effort to let my Rouge status expire, I am definitely taking advantage of the 2018 sales while I can and here is a peek at what’s in my cart.

Pat McGrath Labs MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Ambition Palette – I just couldn’t commit to one of the large palettes and I am stoked that she ended up releasing these 6-pan palettes. This price point makes it more accessible to me and doesn’t make me feel like a jerk. I am picking the ‘safe’ palette because I need to know that I am going to use it.

Milk Makeup Luminous Blur Stick Primer – I don’t love the original Blur Stick even though I do use it fairly often. I think that I have too much texture on my face for it to really make the difference that I want it to. On no-makeup makeup days, it is great though and I suspect that I might like this product.

MILK1

Coco Mademoiselle – This perfume sounds like summer with jasmine, orange blossom and ylang-ylang. I have become such a Chanel junkie, their scents are so wearable.

CHANEL

March Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Masacra – I have been hooked on this mascara ever since having received it in a Play! box and keep purchasing minis but I think it’s time for a full-size.

MARC

Drunk Elephant T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial – I think that this has probably been on a wishlist before and I saw how small the bottle was and passed but I am in the mood for a new face peel. I have used up a couple recently and just didn’t love them enough. This one is spendy but also has rave reviews, I am curious and still haven’t tried much from this brand.

DRUNK

YSL Touche Eclat All-in-one-Glow – This is a tinted moisturizer that claims to provide medium coverage. I wanted this right away when it was released but decided to wait until some reviews were in and overall, they are looking good!

YSL

I think that’s it – I am mostly steering clear of skincare because my skin is liking what I am doing at the moment and I don’t feel the need for anything new. It was odd, during the last sale I tried to order a product a couple of times and I paid for it but then got an email saying it was out of stock. Then it was back in stock during the lapse between sale dates then when I tried to purchase it again, it was out of stock. I don’t want to go all conspiracy theory but it was seriously odd. What are you picking up? Are you excited for the sale?

Thanks for stopping by <3

Those are some great picks! It’s definitely worth it to wait for the VIB sale to get pricey products, but I like the November sale better because the discount is more. So I won’t be getting anything this time around!

It is, especially since they offer so few coupons! I’m the opposite, skipping the fall sale this year unless it’s gifts ☺️

I am not getting anything. I have enough of everything right now. I may do a beautylish haul for The Ordinary serum, but I need to use my makeup more before buying new stuff. I’m trying to buy less from Sephora too. I’m buying more from other places, especially if I can get it cheaper.

We’ll see what I end up purchasing, the last sale was a hassle. It took almost 3 weeks to receive my order and two items were sold out. I think the sale is most useful for Sephora exclusive brands but that’s about it.
