100+ Beauty Questions Tag: Part II

Here is the next batch of questions from the 100+ Beauty Tag that I saw first on lifewithlilred – let’s get to it!

Architects Daughter Regular

It was a Neutrogena tinted powder that they don’t make anymore and I wish they did because it was such a good powder, I would absolutely love to use it again!

Hate is a pretty strong word and a pretty strong feeling to have about some complete strangers makeup. If there is some who could enhance their features more with more polished makeup, Lena Dunham but I don’t hate her for her unique makeup 😀

Architects Daughter Regular

Never.

Architects Daughter Regular

Bronzer! Even if you are pasty pale like me, bronze that shit up.

Architects Daughter Regular

Highlight – sounds nuts but when it is super humid out, I know that I am going to be ‘glowing’ already and added highlight just makes me look crazy. A little shimmer or glitter is more preferable, in my opinion.

Architects Daughter Regular

NARS, or anything with soft-touch packaging always gets me. I also enjoy how sleek but weighty their packaging is.

Architects Daughter Regular Architects Daughter Regular

Moisturizer, I can live without everything else.

Architects Daughter Regular

6, give or take.

Architects Daughter Regular

Black, glitter and I don’t get along and I cannot keep it out of my eyes.

Architects Daughter Regular

It really depends, if it is time to re-up on all of my skincare then it can get a little spendy and I let my self go over my monthly budget but not to exceed $500 on regular months. Now, I also work haircuts and nails into that budget so it isn’t as nuts as it sounds.

Architects Daughter Regular

Usually just a lipstick unless I really need my lips to last and then I go for the liner but that is rare.

Architects Daughter Regular

Currently, Frank Body but I am not a huge bath and body gal since my skin can be very reactive to essential oils and scents. I have really been enjoying the Body Illuminator and Coconut Body Balm from this brand.

Architects Daughter Regular

I will try new things but usually with the assumption that something is going to go wrong. I have been really lucky with all of the K-Beauty products that I have tried so far and haven’t had a poor reaction to any of them.

Architects Daughter Regular

ULTA because their perks are awesome and I can get all of my beauty stuff there usually which is very convenient.

Architects Daughter Regular

Absolutely, I tend to mix foundations that I feel are too matte or too shimmery with other foundations.

Architects Daughter Regular

Chocolate brown – Columbia by Melt Cosmetics is super matte and rich but I also like gel pencils.

Architects Daughter Regular

I like the idea of kajal but I cannot use it, I just make a giant mess so mascara it is. Also, I cannot even use kajal as a liner – who is able to use it on their lashes?!

Architects Daughter Regular

Uhhhh….well, honesty being the best policy, breasts, no contest. I am the first to say that breasts should be no more or less sexualized than a man’s pectorals and the bra-less life is pretty awesome but I would still go for it. Anyway…

Architects Daughter Regular

I don’t want to talk about it. I think that I have tried to emulate someone’s makeup and it never works out but changing the shape of my face or anything like that, no. Although, I find it fascinating to watch videos of artists who can do this.

Architects Daughter Regular

Like I said, I have certainly tried and it never works out.

Architects Daughter Regular

I have never dyed my hair but I love purple and grey hair on other people, such unexpected hues but stunning.

Architects Daughter Regular

I have only ever used the henna bars by LUSH but I like those, usually in winter when I want my hair to be darker red.

Architects Daughter Regular

Have I ever talked about the highlight debacle? Never again, if I wanted more blonde then I would definitely try a gloss.

Architects Daughter Regular

Budget.

Architects Daughter Regular

Being blissfully content in your own skin, none of that eye of the beholder bullshit.

Architects Daughter Regular

I mean, it is tragically funny and not totally to do with makeup. I don’t have a lot of lid space because #hoodedeyes and my gal pal and I were discussing this and we decided to shave our eyebrows off which, she didn’t need to but it was more of a solidarity thing. Clearly it made total sense, shave off your brows, draw them on higher and suddenly you have more lid space. In theory, it was a great idea which we perfectly executed but once realized, it was a nightmare. I shave my entire face now (sans eyebrows) without issue but my eyebrow area turned rashy and itchy and the grow out was awful.

Architects Daughter Regular

That depends, some of the brands that I purchase never go on sale but I prefer to shop on sale when I can. Hair stuff, always discounted.

Architects Daughter Regular

Nope, I have given products that I didn’t like away but I don’t share.

Architects Daughter Regular

Essie.

Architects Daughter Regular

Full coverage but not like I am trying too hard.

Architects Daughter Regular

Hilarious, I have been going to the same nail guy for almost 10 years and he mentioned this last time that I used to get designs on my nails and if I wanted to do something! I had totally forgotten that I used to get little embellishments but they are just plain now.

Architects Daughter Regular

Charlotte Tilbury

Architects Daughter Regular

Like, what kind of food? A new lipstick over a turkey sandwich, no question but…makeup. Obviously.

Architects Daughter Regular

Navy and beige.

Architects Daughter Regular

I just pick whatever.

Architects Daughter Regular

Of course.

Architects Daughter Regular

Generally I don’t mind them but if I get them on crooked during allergy season then it’s over.

Architects Daughter Regular

Nope.

Architects Daughter Regular

So many good ones but currently Milani, they have released so many awesome products recently!

Architects Daughter Regular

Lipstick, warm it up and tap it on.
