Everybody’s Working for Wednesday

I learned something very important today, when you ask a customer support person if you can ‘delete a domain’ you must be very specific about what domain. You see, when I upgraded my site domain on I had an old domain that seemed to just work in unison with my current domain but started causing issues when I went self-hosted and somehow people were able to find this domain and follow it even though there was no content. That was the domain that I wanted to have deleted but ended up deleting all of my domains including the one I wanted, talk about panic. 12 hours later, no fault of their own, I seem to be restored. I hate the internet.

So back to Wednesday, I also hate that I am at a point in my life where I look forward to Wednesday because it’s closer to Friday which is closer to the weekend. I think I am a little young for a midlife crisis but this month has just been one, long slog and I don’t know what that’s about. Shouldn’t spring be energizing? We can all get outside now and enjoy nature, the coats are packed away, everyone should be feeling fancy free. Not the case. Maybe it’s my allergy medication but I am exhausted, I passed on a taco today. A taco! I mean, if that’s not an indication of trouble then I don’t know what is. How do I know if I am enjoying life? Is anyone enjoying life or are we just going through the motions. I thought I would a condensed version of a What’s Up Wednesday style post, enjoy!

I am re-reading the last installment of the DI Helen Grace books, Little Boy Blue because I finally got my hands on the next book in the series but wanted to make sure that I am prepared for it. I like DI Grace, she’s sometimes a little pathetic but she’s overall an interesting character.

I took a break from Mad Men to watch the Netflix original documentary The Keepers. It’s a terribly tragic story and reminded me of when all of the abuse stories were coming to light in the early 2000’s and how that impacted a lot of young people’s faith. It was sad, I hope they solve that murder some day.

The bareminerals liquid foundation that I anti-hauled – I know, I know. It’s pretty amazing though, the coverage and wear is flawless and I am shocked that they ended up formulating a liquid foundation that can compete with their original mineral foundation.

Not tacos but I did make some copy-cat Chipotle cilantro lime rice and it was pretty tasty and surprisingly easy. I have started using avocado oil for cooking and it’s fabulous, very light.

I have a toothache and I just know that it is going to have to be pulled because I have terrible teeth and a couple of dental implants. I am going to get it looked at, I actually don’t mind getting implants because they look really nice but they are crazy expensive and the procedure is messy.

I am ending it there because my life just isn’t interesting enough to answer all of these questions 😀 Although, I am looking forward to Memorial Day weekend – I have a hankering for some iced tea and never feel quite right drinking it before the holiday. What are you up to?

Thanks for stopping by <3

Yes! I love the Bare Minerals BarePRO too!! Although, I haven’t used it in months I admit but if I’m feeling higher, more flawless coverage, that’s the one I’ll go for. The oil control is fab too.

I totally feel you. I think it’s normal to have some weeks where you just feel like blah but usually it’ll pass.

It’s so good – I really thought that it wouldn’t compare to their original because I just loved that so much but glad I took a chance on it. I agree, it has been holding up really well in the humidity.

Agreed, such is life and I am sure things will be back to normal soon 🙂
