Rainy Day Ramblings

What is it about a change in the weather that gets me so distracted? Only drastic changes, if it is snowing for 6 months – that’s fine but we just went from 22 inches of snow, to mid-70’s and now rain. I literally have snow boots, rain boots, a coat, a slicker, a cardigan and a pair of sandals in my car. I mean, just in case because we don’t know what’s going to happen at this point.

I am pretty sure that I mentioned it, I just finished the episode where Jimmy Barrett spills the beans to Betty about his wife and Don. Also, the episode where they go on a family picnic and leave their garbage in the park. Ah, the 50’s, such blissful ignorance. I was never into Joan’s fiance/husband and always thought he was creeper from the first time he was introduced. Sure, he was good looking but there was something off about him. I think I am wearing pedal pushers to work tomorrow, just in the mood for them. Also, I never really understood that Rolling Stones song about nutty housewives but I totally get it now.

And realized that I have never dated a guy who can grow a full beard, I can’t say that this is necessarily a desired trait in a mate but if I was a male and couldn’t grow a beard, I would be bummed about it. If I was male, that would legit be my first order of business, full-beard.

I used to have such a thing for yellow in high school and these shoes are taking me straight back:

And that’s fine but what he doesn’t know is that I used to have a severe Call of Duty addiction, I actually threw my neck out playing a game because I was so tensed up. I literally had to get rid of my game console, I can’t get sucked back in – I should pick up smoking.

So, apparently, I was supposed to do this on my own and didn’t realize it. Oops. But everyone should be migrated now and able to see my posts but if you missed any and have a hankering to see what I am up to, head on – I would appreciate it πŸ˜€

Thanks for stopping by <3

Haha – thank you <3 I thought that 'one-click' WordPress migration meant my followers too but that was clearly not the case. I had to Google it and finally figured it out, sheesh. Lesson learned though πŸ˜€

LOL as if you’d rather pick up smoking than an x-box. I have actually never gotten into the whole Call of Duty thing but it was all the craze with the guys back in high school. Even my brother who’s quite the gamer isn’t into that. I admit that I miss gaming (I was thinking about how much I miss playing The Sims the other day actually) but I already complain that there’s not enough time in the day for me to do things, so can’t imagine picking up gaming again AND being productive.

Haha! I mean, in the short-term, it would probably be less stressful! I don’t know what it is about COD but it just sucks you in and then you have to do these missions. Exactly, it is a total productivity killer because you lose track of time. Gaming is definitely fun though, in moderation πŸ˜€

I know what you mean! I also have to carry half my closet with me… You just never know! Yesterday I started driving home and it was so sunny and nice, by the time I got home it was a thunderstorm and pouring. Then my dad got home five minutes after I ran in and it was sunny again. So crazy! Btw, I adore the look of your blog!!!

I walked outside today and it was 48 degrees! I don’t know what the weather is doing, all over the place. Thank you, tried to keep it simple 😊
