And I think I’m self-hosted? What a wormhole and for someone who thinks that they are pretty tech-savvy, it was more of a headache than what I signed on for but I will post all about it soon because I just can’t think about it anymore right now. My end of month posts are a little delayed but still might be enjoyable and I was pretty proud of what I used up this month!
tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist – I think that this is probably one of the sprays that is in my left-over mixture bottle and I don’t recall loving it on its own. The scent is reminiscent of fresh-cut oranges and it feels nice on the skin but I never knew when to use it. I found that when I used it over makeup, my skin looked really dewy but it was only a few hours before dewy became greasy – which is a very fine line, people. I wouldn’t repurchase, I don’t have a purpose for it in my collection.
CosRx One Step Original Clear Pads – Already repurchased, I love these.
Common Labs Mild Finger Peeling Pad – These are pretty similar to the pixi peel pads, I was hoping that they would be more potent and since I already have a similar product will not be repurchasing. I think the finger pad design is unnecessary and think they should include more pads in the box instead. They are a nice, mild peel if you need on though and don’t peel as often as I do.
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toning Solution – Again, this is just too similar to the Glow Tonic products and while this product is way more affordable, I don’t think it was as effective. This product is constantly sold out, it is a good product but I just have others that I prefer.
Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder – All time favourite setting powder, already repurchased.
tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes – This one pains me a little because this was a limited edition tube and I got every bit of product that I could out of it. I used to not enjoy this mascara at all but it has really grown on me, I use it almost every day.
MAC Fix+ in Coconut – They released a few new flavours, I don’t even like this spray but got sucked in because it was coconut. It does smell nice though.
Pond’s Cold Cream – I won’t repurchase this until winter, I only use it when my skin is ultra dry as the first part of my double cleanse. Pond’s is a classic, I don’t think that there is another product out there that quite competes.
Pure Clay Mask – I did like this mask but haven’t been using a ton of clay masks as of late. This one wasn’t too drying and definitely felt great on but I don’t know what the long-term results were if any. I loved the scent though, very refreshing.
Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack – Eh, I did like this mask and it is packed with really good ingredients like avocado, aloe and orange peel but it has these grainy bits in it that scratch my face. I could be wiping it on/off too aggressively but it literally hurts my face. I started only using it to spot tree my chin and oil t-zone which helped me use the tub up but it did get to be kind of a chore finding ways to use this one up.
VERB Leave in Mist – This was the sample that got me hooked on this product. It is so lightweight but moisturizing and it’s not too heavy for my short hair. I really like this brand overall, it’s fairly affordable and mostly natural.
Glossier Super Bounce – This is supposed to be a hyaluronic acid serum that promotes plump skin but it didn’t do anything for me. I think that the whole Supers line is way over-priced and not very potent.
AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Cleansing Foam – I like this product but cannot say that I would spend the money on the full-size, lucky I don’t have to because I have about 6 samples to use up 😛
