Best Of's

Best of June

I didn’t share any products for Best of May since I could only come up with two products that seemed like favourites so I just saved those to talk about in this month’s post. I actually had a few things this month so let’s get to them.

Drybar Hot ToddyI purchased this after I started using the heat protectant spray and they work really well together. They both have the same musky scent that can be a little strong going on but I never notice it throughout the day. It gives my hair a little body and keeps it smooth without feeling sticky or weighing it down. I don’t love the price tag, it’s definitely a splurge item.

Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip PlumperI just talked about these in a Monday Must Have and I really do enjoy them. They are an easy pop of colour to throw on, I still don’t know if they actually do plump my lips but they look and feel nice.

Milani Make It Last Setting PowderAnother Milani find that I have been enjoying is the Radiant finishing setting powder. I don’t really use it as a setting powder though because it is so pink and shimmery, it’s like the perfect dupe for the BareMinerals All Over Face Colors but you get way more product and it’s affordable! I run this product over the high points of my face with a fluffy powder brush and it is gorgeous, very lovely for a summer flush.

Patrick Starrr Eye Quad, Glossier Lash Slick & Lash Paradise Primer – These three products have been my eye look on repeat. The quad seems pretty boring but the shadows are so nice that I can’t quit using it. It isn’t available at ULTA any more but I think he has another summer quad available, tempted to pick that up. The Lash Slick has definitely grown on me, it’s great for everyday wear.

Powder Bleu BrushesAre these spendy for drugstore brushes? Absolutely but they apply powder products like a dream, they are incredibly soft, totally synthetic and gorgeous.

Physician’s Formula Rose All Day SerumI have still been liking this under makeup, it hasn’t broken me out which was my biggest worry since so many reviews mentioned this issue. I think it adds a glow to whatever makeup I have on, I apply it with primer or I mix it with foundation and both ways look nice.

SkinRx MadeCera Cream and DHC Velvet Skin CoatI have already shared my love for the MadeCera cream and it is still so great. It is a heavier cream and I have been primarily using it on some dry patches that I’ve had as a result of my new prescription. It is so healing, I still really like it. The DHC primer is my new fave silicon-y primer, it isn’t terribly heavy so it doesn’t dry my skin out and it does a pretty decent job at minimizing pores.

Earth Therapeutics Foot BalmIt’s summer, people are wearing sandals and this is my fave foot lotion for keeping my heels from looking dry or cracking plus it smells amazing.

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish – I am not crazy about the pomegranate flavour but I like this body polish, it is gritty but not so much that it irritates my skin. I find myself using a ton at a time but I only use it once a week so the tub lasts for a while. There is a cocoa butter scented one as well that I like more.

Stash UnspokenStill wearing this non-stop, it’s a really lovely, light scent.

I have been listening to Salem’s Lot for the 100th time at least and it is still so good, so scary but good.

Peter Vlogs has been the only thing that I have watched on Youtube in awhile, he just rolls around and talks about his life. I don’t know why I like it, it’s just something to throw on and not have to think about.

That’s it for my June picks, what were you loving this month?

Thanks for stopping by <3
