Wishlists

Summer Wishlist

I feel like I am in a shopping mood but when I attempted to do some shopping this weekend, I only came home with two pairs of pants! I have been binge-watching CSI Las Vegas almost every night, nothing makes you feel better about your personal struggles than watching grotesque homicide investigations. I am going to the mega mall this weekend though and have some idea of where I am going and what I am getting. So, this isn’t as much of a wishlist as it is a shopping list but we will see how inspired I will be once I arrive at my destinations 😀

First stop is IKEA for some home goods, just a few small things that I have my eye on:

I have a lot of decor in the bedroom that I think I am going to put in the living room, tons of bold colours and patterns and am looking at this rug. I like the black and white contrast, I think it will go perfectly with what I am trying to do. Why are rugs so expensive? This is just a medium sized, low-pile rug and it’s 80 bucks!

I have two big pillows that are orange yarn that I never use and am going to grab some cases for them so that I can put them on the couch. I am literally getting two things from IKEA so one would think that it’s going to take about a 1/2 hour but I know I am going to get stuck in there for at least 6.

I am on the hunt for athletic pants with pockets that aren’t leggings and apparently this is a tall order because I cannot find anything. I don’t mind wearing leggings as part of an outfit but I cannot stand working out in leggings, I always feel like they are falling down or bunching up or…you get the idea. I receive emails from Fabletics constantly but I think it’s a membership program and I only need 2-3 pairs of pants to workout for the week, if you’ve tried them though, let me know! I am into these joggers but are they really for working out or lounging? These are from Old Navy so I will at least check them out.

Would it be a wishlist with some beauty bits? I don’t think so:

I absolutely do not need more setting powder but I haven’t tried anything from Huda Beauty and this Easy Bake setting powder has got me curious. I don’t see that it is available in stores yet but Sephora MOA usually gets stocked first, I’m hoping this shows up before the weekend. It’s formulated with Vitamin E which is why I am so keen to try it, I think it will be good for dry skin.

I definitely have to hit LUSH for some Karma Kream, I haven’t worn it in a long time because the former BF didn’t like the scent of patchouli – super stoaked to wear whatever the Hell I want again. I wonder why this is listed in their New Products though as I don’t think it’s new?

I think that’s it, I thought that there was more but we’ll see what else I pick up and perhaps I’ll post an MOA haul if I remember. You know, something that has been hard since the break-up is going places that I used to love going to because the BF always came with me. I feel like everywhere I used to go is tainted and I just get sad once I’m there and I leave – maybe MOA will be different as I only recall having gone there a handful of occasions with him. It sucks when all you want to do is shop and then it turns into a downer. Anyway, enough of the pity party – what do you have your eye on this summer?

Thanks for stopping by <3

Buying well-fitted workout leggings/joggers is a mission I tell you! I have quite a few leggings for working out but I only truly like half of my collection. As you state, some of them bunch up whether at the waist or…you know. The ones that fit best for me are the Adidas Climalite. Uniqlo leggings are a great fit too but they’re not exactly workout attire lol. It’s too warm for me to consider wearing any of these now though.

I would love to try Nike leggings as I think they look great but I just cannot justify the price.

It is such a pain! I have short legs so they always tend to go up to my chin 😀 I agree, I don’t get what makes them cost so much but I’m not really interested in finding out either! I will have to take a look at Adidas, that’s not a brand that I usually shop.
