Top Ten Tuesday,  Wishlists

Top Ten Tuesday – VIB Wishlist

I was going to share my Michael’s Halloween Haul but first I was like; slow your roll – it’s too early and second, I purchased a few things from their vintage collection and I have to say – it’s all kinda’ terrifying. I have said this before, Halloween was infinitely scarier 50 years ago. The jack-o-lanterns look like human heads! Anyway, I was not prepared for all that and we’ll do a Sephora wishlist instead but not just any wishlist, the VIB Sale wishlist! In all honesty, I am not super pumped for this sale or new makeup in general so this will mostly be a list of skincare/haircare that I just don’t want to pay full price for 😀

IGK Rick Kid Coconut Oil Gel – I received this in a Play box ages ago and just started using the sample on a whim, I am obsessed with this gel! There’s just something about it, it doesn’t make my hair feel sticky but somehow still adds texture and it makes my hair noticeably more shiny than what I have been using. I struggle purchasing luxury haircare, I usually just purchase whatever is on sale but this stuff is really good.

GoTo ExceptionoilI am super pleased that this brand is now available at Sephora, I have used their face oil and this all-over oil before but they didn’t become staples. However, this oil is very useful in the winter for dry lips, elbows, cuticles, foot cracks – it’s seriously so good.

Aqua Bomb Mist – belif – I am seriously intrigued by this product, the cream is amazing but doesn’t deliver quite enough moisture for me but I am thinking that this mist would be really nice over my skincare in the evening just to seal everything in.

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey MaskThis mask looks delicious, it has a gold sheen to it and is supposed to be good for clearing congestion and conditioning the complexion. I tend to avoid charcoal because it can be so drying, I am wondering if the honey helps with not stripping the skin?

Kiehl’s Buttermask Intense Repair MaskCan you tell that my skin is dry? This mask sounds divine and is formulated with coconut oil and wild mango butter – delish. Maybe it’s not the dry skin making me want all of these, maybe I’m just hungry 😛

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask This brand won’t be available during the sale, I am pretty certain but I would really like to save some cash on this ridiculously overpriced mask that is very lovely.

Viktor & Rolf Magic Sage SmellMost people who I know think that sage stinks but I quite like the earthy scent of it. This could either be amazingly unique or awful, I’m kinda’ at a loss on the price point but I’d like to at least sample it.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily PeelI already use these, I love them and I’d like to save some money on them!

La Mer Treatment Lotion Hydrating MaskEach sheet mask is soaked in one full ounce of their Treatment Lotion – are you kidding?! Get on my face.

L’Occitane Almond Eco-Refill ComboUse it, love it and am definitely repurchasing during the sale!

You know what has stolen my VIB Sale joy? Taxes. In my head I am thinking of all the money that I am going to save and then I go to check out and there’s like 70 bucks in tax! So annoying, good thing it goes to funding all of this amazing infrastructure…oh…wait…

What are you picking up during the sale? Are you feeling jaded or overwhelmed by all of the makeup that is released on the daily? Let me know!

Thanks for stopping by <3

I don’t really pay attention to what’s being released everyday in the make-up world but it’s always fun to see how make-up collectors and enthusiasts react to the new products and whether it was worth the “hype” etc. 😝

I can totally imagine how much that Viktor and Rolf perfume costs just because I loved the scent of Flowerbomb but refused to buy it at its price point lol.

Hahaha! I generally keep an eye on new stuff but it has become a chore! Too many new products that are too similar to products already out there.

I don’t get why their fragrances are so expensive, they aren’t a Chanel or Dior!
