Guess what time it is? Time for a fall tag, my thoughts exactly 😛 It’s the first rainy, cool day that we have had in a few weeks and I am feeling the vibe. I saw this on tumblr, I don’t know how active this account is but the tag looked like a lot of fun and just what I needed this afternoon! I did skip some because I felt it was a little long.
Ms. Frizzle which is pretty much my go-to for Halloween these days since I just have the wardrobe for it and don’t need to purchase new items generally.
Any hot soup with crusty bread for dipping; I could eat soup from September to February with zero complaints.
Not really but maybe this will be the year that I start some.
Eh, same music that I listen to all year. I don’t know if I have any music that I associate specifically with this time of year?
I can’t pick just one! If I had to pick spooky over horror then it would be The Haunting circa 1963. Also, I like to listen to Coast to Coast AM and watch reruns of Unsolved Mysteries at this time of year especially.
S’mores, pumpkin pie grosses me out.
That’s a tough one, you have all of the fancy toppings with the ho-cho but I do love a spicy cup of cider. I will have to say cider but I like it with nutmeg, cloves and loads of cinnamon chucked in.
I like exactly one a year, and actually, I order a vanilla latte with a shot of pumpkin spice.
Halloween on a full moon, the next one isn’t until 2020. It’s also a Saturday that year so everyone can get extra-weird.
Uhhh…probably a cat? Probably something I should consult that psychic on when I go.
Unfortunately, I like in a cookie-cutter suburb with all of your over-commercialized destinations and sterile experiences that is sadly lacking in unique flair.
I am more of a leaf kicker, personally. I love trudging through ankle-deep leaves that have collected on the sidewalks but not something that happens very often since the cities keep the walks clear. Honestly, elitists.
Sometimes but it’s not something that I feel obligated to do every year. I look like an idiot in flannel which I feel is the required attire for such an outing hence why I don’t go often.
Sure, there is something especially satisfying about a crisp, fall hike.
Typically just Bath & Body Works, I think they do a lot of nice fragrances for fall. My faves are Leaves, Blackberry Tea Leaf, Cinnamon Bark and Cranberry Woods.
I surely do, mine are generally pretty juvenile but it’s still fun and roasted pumpkin seeds are such a sweet reward.
Kentucky coffee, we had them where I lived growing up and they are such a unique shade of orange in fall.
Corn mazes are plenty creepy for me, I don’t need any surprises. A couple of years ago, a lady called in to complain that she had somehow managed to lodge a corn kernel in her ear while she was going through a corn maze. I just wanted to be like, you did it wrong.
Like I said, I am fairly juvenile with my pumpkins but you can tell what they are.
Spooky, of course!
I do actually, I think that they are peaceful and often very beautiful. That being said, I have visited a few that give me the creeps or made me feel overwhelmingly sad but it doesn’t discourage me from visiting new ones.
I think it has to be the year that I started college, the campus where I went to school is stunning at any time of year but the fall colors suit the old buildings especially well. It was the ultimate new beginning, I moved away from home to an enormous city to pursue my future. It’s still a very piquant memory, I love the new beginning feeling of fall.
Freshman year in college 🙂
Yup. I prefer cold rain instead of summer rain now that I live in Minnesota because of the humidity factor.
Salem – I mean, is that even a question?! The cost of living seems fairly comparable to MN but I bet there is a housing crunch.
A perfect Winifed Sanderson, wig and all. I have one in the works that I add to whenever I wear it but it’s still a little off. It’s probably the velvet which also makes me look like a doofus.
What do you mean already? I am stocked!
I am pretty much a fall/winter gal – summer and spring are just one humid slog.
Making pizza and passing out candy. Oh, maybe I do have a fall tradition – I make homemade pizza every year and watch Halloween movies while I am passing out candy.
Eh, I enjoy the decorations but could take or leave the actual holiday.
Probably HomeGoods, I like how cozy it feels when they get in their blankets and pillows plus it smells so good.
Reese’s Pumpkins which I insist are not the same as the cups! Debate me.
I hope that you enjoyed this and that you are having a beautiful day!
