Cool weather clothing is what I feel most comfortable in, there’s more opportunity to put together actual outfits instead of just throwing on something mostly presentable that you can beat the heat in. I don’t purchase a lot of clothing, so I am glad to see some trends coming back that I already own pieces of. I am looking forward to fully embracing some of this season’s hottest trends!
I love me some Peg Bundy vibes, animal prints are surprisingly easy to wear and can add flair to just about any ensemble.
If I looked 1/4 as good as Blake Lively does in a suit, I would absolutely wear men’s tweeds on the regular but I tend to stick to skirts and wide leg trousers. I need a little give in my clothes and tweed can feel like a straight jacket real quick but it’s beautiful.
I don’t get how this is a trend, I mean, there are still cowboys who dress as such…? I feel that this was coined by Tyra Banks, now make it cowboy. Honestly, I would embrace a little country chic though.
Finally, a reason to wear hoods other than arctic wind – I love a good hood.
I must say that with a couple of fashion houses now pledging not to use leather, I am surprised that it remains a top trend this year. I don’t do leather, it looks best on the animals that were born with it and there are too many quality, man-made materials that are just as stunning these days that there is no need for it.
Yes, it’s apparently trendy this season to dress modestly…? But the designer take on this is high-necks, midis and like 10,000 layers of clothing. You can dress modestly without looking like a complete moron. Be honest, they meant frumpy and are just trying to dress it up 😛 Modesty, it’s so hot right now.
I am all for dressing modestly but these models are wearing at least three separate outfits, can you imagine? What trends are you most likely to try on?
