Blogmas Day 4: Christmas Tag Part Two

Fa-la-la-la-la-la–la–la–la! So, I am trying out this snowflake animation plugin and I don’t know if I love it or not. I’m going to try out some other designs and see if I like it better but let me know if it’s distracting – here is part two of the Christmas Tag that I started yesterday!

Do my cats count πŸ˜› Christmas hasn’t ever been that big of a deal to me, I enjoy the entire season – I like the decorations and music, it isn’t just one day for me. Which doesn’t answer the question at all but I like to be the person who makes the day special.

Probably Christmas, reason being is that my birthday is January 3rd and I have always felt like people are a little partied out by the time my birthday rolls around. Plus, there’s not a lot to do in the dead of winter aside from ice skating or trying to celebrate it in conjunction with New Years – it’s just kinda lame but I do use my birthday as an excuse to leave my Christmas decorations up like two additional weeks so there’s that.

Meh. Seriously though – what is this question πŸ˜€

One year, I received one of those eating Cabbage Patch dolls and I thought it was going to be amazing and it was but also terrifying. They were recalled within like two weeks because kids were sticking their hair and fingers down the mouth. Have kids always been that stupid? Like, those kids were a part of my generation and my 9-year old self knew to not be sticking anything down those jaws of steel. I found the doll surprising because we didn’t typically receive toys and that doll had come out that year, I’m pretty easily pleased πŸ˜€ Side note, can you believe that Cabbage Patch dolls are still a thing? The whole pretense of babies being birthed from cabbages, totally bizarre.

I wish, I feel like more companies should close for the week of Christmas. If I do have extra days off during the holidays, I like to read a lot.

Watching some of my favorite holiday movies, doing a little baking, going sledding, not gagging down any eggnog.

Probably my charm bracelet…? I received it when I was 10 or 11 years old and it’s full of charms now but I never wear it, mostly because it’s pretty gaudy but also has a lot of sentimental value.

*I_Love~Christmas}

Training bras, honestly.

I think that I have talked about this on here and it is totally gag-worthy but sinfully delicious. My mom would make this desert that was straight out of like the 40’s/50’s called Marshmallow Salad, a salad, it ain’t. You take mini marshmallows, a vat of hand-whipped cream, maraschino cherries, crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges and crushed walnuts then dump it altogether and eat it before it gets soggy. I have made it once or twice since living on my own but gosh, it’s a doozy.

Probably Home Alone but it’s a close call with National Lampoon’s Christmas because it’s such a classic. It makes me sad that the plot of Home Alone totally wouldn’t happen today, you can always get a hold of people now days. Kids these days, will never know the fear of being completely abandoned, what a shame πŸ˜‰

I hope you are enjoying this tag and I would love to read your responses so be sure to let me know if you do this one!
